ooze-boy?

cole still isn't feeling the greatest- lots of oozing, for lack of a less-disgusting term. poor little guy, his nose is getting red and raw from the combination of goobers and constant wiping. so of course, he's still a bit testy... not that it stops him from getting into mischief. cole got ahold of some paper towel and decided to "help" clean the floor. it kept him occupied for a LONG time... now there are tiny bits of paper towel EVERYWHERE; the kitchen, the dining room, the living room... oh well, i should probably vacuum anyway.

yesterday we had to run out and get more baby wipes, so we took the opportunity to stop at bucholz park in town. it's pretty small- a few swings, a slide, some trees... i took some photos of cole and kelvin, and cole had fun in the leaves, once he stopped crying. we didn't stay long because it was cold (there were flurries in the air) and we didn't want cole to feel any worse than he already was.

our son's never-ending fascination with cell phones... no matter how far back from the edge of the table i put my phone, it seems that he almost always gets ahold of it. don't ask me how, he just does. that usually keeps him quiet for a little bit too... he has two of our old ones to play with but it seems the thrill is gone with those two. he'd rather play with the ones that make mommy and daddy jump up and come a-runnin'.

oh, i should probably mention that cole did NOT get up last night- yay! you'd think i'd have gotten a good night's sleep, but the pizza i had for a snack took care of that one. oh fun.
