scared (after two miscarriages, i had the right to be freaked), excited, happy... after trying for over 4 years, this was a dream come true!

4. How did you find out you were pregnant?

on a whim, i bought a $1 test at dollar general, then bought two ept's from walmart, just to make sure!

5. Who did you tell first?

mom, then kelvin... i don't know why i did it that way, probably because mom was my biggest support in dealing with our losses and trying to conceive.

6. Did you want to find out the sex?

of course!

september 11, 2007

8. Did you deliver early or late?

3 1/2 weeks early

nope, just the occassional but tolerable queasies at night, and only for the first 9 weeks or so.

10. What did you crave?

nothing in particular until my second trimester, when the ice cravings hit, big time!

11. Who irritated you the most?

i think it would have to be the people who felt the need to ask me if i was sure i wasn't having twins. or the girl at mcdonald's who just outright asked when the twins were due and was i having one of each... what the...???

a bouncing baby boy (how's that for cliche...)

other than mild anemia, no.

kelvin, my sister, my dad, kelvin's parents and sister, two nurses, a student nurse and the doctor. NEVER AGAIN!!!! i should have sold tickets...

natural

20. Did you take medicine to ease the pain?

the nubane didn't do much, and i had two epidruals because the first one didn't take on one side... despite my efforts to go drug-free. i blame the pitocin.

21. How much did your child weigh?

7 lbs, 13 oz.

22. What did you name him/her?

cole ryan

23. How old is your first born today?

almost 14 months.

24. Where did your water break?

first in my own bed, then it was re-ruptured in the hospital. how fun...
