just gotta get it off my chest, sorry. so here's the thing- first beef is with our wonderful social security administration... if it's standard that new babies need to be added to health insurance coverage within 30 days of birth, why does it take longer than that on average to get their social security numbers/cards? we've got till friday to get madison added to our health insurance, and we can't do it without her social security number, which we still don't have. it better come SOON, or we're going to be up a creek- we can't afford not to have her covered! second beef: w-2's. they're supposed to be postmarked by 1/31, and kelvin still hasn't gotten his. he called the office yesterday and was told that about a dozen other employees didn't get their w-2's yet either. ok, people make mistakes and all but you don't mess with taxes (or insurance). grrrr!
anyway, sorry bout that- just had to let off a little steam... at least we know the w-2's are coming, but as for the insurance, well, i'm a WEE bit anxious about that one. hello, ssa- what are you thinking??

When we had Adriana we had the same problem. I finally called the SS office and they said "Oh, if you want a copy you need to come in and get one." I had to go to the office and get hers. I would call and see what the holdup is. And make sure you bring everything they say you have to. I think its 3 diffrent things to prove its her and she is yours! Good Luck!
