those are the lyrics that come to mind... i've been having false labor for the past week and a half. seriously. several times a day, i find myself timing contractions for awhile and then, well, things just kind of peter out. last night was particularily intense... about 2 am. like, white-knuckles-remember-to-relax-and-breathe kind of contractions. and my belly looked really odd too... but of course, they stopped after about 45 minutes. oh well... good practice i guess. so i chanced grocery-shopping on my own, thinking that maybe a little walking and all would get things going again. nothing steady, but my freezer is officially too full. i have a list of dishes to make that i have ingredients for. yes, i'm the kind of girl that never writes out a menu and forgets just what she got cream of celery soup for... i'd make and freeze some things, but like i said, the freezer's packed. i could always stick it outside, i suppose- it's only 8 degrees and the snowbanks are plenty high, after all. nah... i'd just forget where i put it and we'd find it in the spring when everything's soggy and melting. oh yummy.
anyway, we went to dan and ruby's yesterday for awhile... i'll post photos later when cole takes a nap. it was nice to just sit around and have no plans. obviously, planning anything is out of the question these days; c'mon baby, let's go!!!
