i just had to see if these new carseats really do hold babies up to 30 lbs and 33 inches... they do! cole had plenty of room!
i have discovered that cole REALLY likes the numa numa video we have posted on the blog... yeah, it's a few years old and the craze has been long-forgotten, but there's just something really likeable and funny about it- turns out, cole loves it! he gets this big smile and starts "dancing" to it... easy entertainment!

someday i swear i will start posting videos, but until then i am promoting the use of one's imagination- you'll just have to imagine the goofy bounce he's doing ("dancing") in this pic.
so- as kids do, he's moved onto other things and already forgotten about the fun he was having 5 minutes ago- his new activity is pulling my sweatshirt around behind him and sucking on the hood string... it's quiet, all i can hear is the slurp-slurp of cole eating my string. this is the billionth time he's done it today; no matter where i hide the shirt, he always gets ahold of it somehow. i though i had it far enough away from the edge of the bed this time, but i forgot that he's started utilizing various objects as stools and ladders...
