we got the stroller! i felt so bad for the lady we bought it from- she said that it was PERFECT for them and she loved it, but her older child refused to ride in a stroller (mr independent, i guess), so they had no choice but to get a sit-and-stand stroller and couldn't keep both.

i LOVE this thing... we took it for a short test drive and let me tell you, i've never operated a stroller that's so easy to manuever! much better than our old one- both wheels turn when they're supposed to! and the handles are higher, so kelvin doesn't have to hunch over to push it.

luckily, the lady included the owners manuals for both the stroller and the carseat, so we don't have to figure everything out by trial and error. yeah, there might be more gadgets and things that move around and whatnot, but i can tell already that i'm gonna love taking the kids shopping in this!

less than impressed in the back seat... i had to see just how it looked with the infant seat in the front. i thought mom might like to see, too... she thought it was pretty neat that the carrier can go in front OR in back. and, the back seat also turns into a bassinet-type seat (the bottom folds up so that it's like a carriage seat) in case we don't want to take in infant seat with us. pretty cool!

folded up, it's a bit bulky and heavier than the single stroller, but it IS a double stroller, so that makes plenty of sense. and it's a small price to pay for the convenience of being able to easily take two kids around the mall or whatever. i have to say, it excedes my expectations... i did my research and knew about the "bulky and heavy" complaints, but since those seemed to be the only issues, i figured that this would be the system for us. i think i was right... and you can't tell it's been used, except for very minimal wear on the front foot rest (that's the first place the dings and scrapes will show, but i didn't notice them till i was ready to fold it back up) and the wheels had a bit of dust on them. so- practically new! now we just have to fill that second seat... it won't be long... i can't believe how fast this pregnancy is flying by.

Coles new RIDE is sweet! I really like it! It looks great and he looks like he really like the front seat! Pretty soon he's going to have to share it tho! :D
